The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular
adjourned session at 9:00 o'clock a.m. with Mayor Blackl1lan
calling the'meeting to order with the Salute to the Flag.
ROLL CALL

DISCUSSION - 1976-77 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET :: ,
The City Manager presented an over-view of the Redevelopment Agency
revenues and expenditures. Discussion followed. There was no action
taken. . .,. .1.

Budget modifications resulting from previous Budget Study Sessions
and corrections were submitted to the City Council by the City
Manager.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Mayor Blackman declared oral communications open from the audience.
Mr. George Supple, 1605 Merion Way, expressed concern over pension
plan security for City employees and requested clarification of
various i terns throughout the Budget.
A representative from the West Orange County Hot Line addressed
the Council, reviewed the Hot Line operation and procedures, and
requested financial aid from the City of Seal Beach for their
services. It was the consensus of the Council that this matter
be held over for further study.

There were no other oral communications from the audience; Mayor
Blackman declared oral communications closed.
Discussion followed regarding the need for more study sessions
for the proposed budget. It was the consensus of the majority
of the, Council that no additional Budget Study Sessions were
necessary.

11:05 a.m.
