RE: Annual League of California Cities Conference
Voting Delegate / Alternate
The Annual League of California Cities Conference will be
held in Long Beach from Wednesday, October 2nd through
Saturday, October 5th, 2002.
The League has requested, as is customary, that the City
Council take action to appoint a voting delegate and an
alternate voting delegate to represent this City at the
Business Session to be held on Saturday, October 5th at
10:15 a.m. at the Long Beach Convention Center. The Mayor
is traditionally the voting delegate and a member of the
City Council is generally appointed as the alternate
delegate, however any official of a member city registered
to attend the Annual Conference may be designated as the
City's voting delegate or alternate with the approval of the
City Council.
Recommended Action:
That the City Council designate a voting delegate and
alternate to the 2002 Annual League of California Cities
••ference.
