The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance. Present: Mayor.Gummere Councilmen Anderson, Gemmill, Hamilton, Dreis Absent: Councilmen - None I It was moved by Hamilton and seconded by Dreis to approve the minutes of the adjourned meeting of November 12, 1966, as presented. AYES: NOES: Anderson, Gemmill, Hamilton, Dreis, Gummere None Motion carried. I I I 97 Payroll demands, $29,152.36 and regular demands Number 1050 to 1178 incl., $32,645.19 totaling $61,797.55 as approved by the Finance Committee were presented. It was moved by Anderson and seconded by Dreis that the demands be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for the same. The City Manager announced that no action would be taken by the Zonin~ City Council at this meeting in regard to rezoning for fraternities or sororities as the matter must first properly come before the Planning Commission at their meeting of November 23,.1966. Letter from the Orange County League of Cities clarifying league Or. Co. discussions was received and filed. The City Manager announced that this was the time for a public LeaI!;Ue hearing for rezoning of the Pacific Electric Railway right of way. Letter from the City Engineer regarding Regional Water Reservoir for Water Entities of West Orange County Water Board was discussed. It was moved by Gemmill and seconded by Dreis that our representative to the Board be instructed to move that the matter be tabled. It was moved by Anderson and seconded by Dreis that the request of Oil Tax Humble 01] and.ReDining Company,~for:a refund of $6,017.87 for business license tax paid under protest be denied and that they be so notified. Upon the recommendation of the City Engineer it.was moved by I Dreis and seconded by Anderson to grant an extention of time to Bovee and Crail Construction Company from December 12 to December 30, 1966. It was moved by Gemmill and'seconded by Gummere to authorize the City Attorney and City Manager to prepare a resolution re I problems and goals of a scenic corridor along Pacific Coast Highway.
