The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session
at 8:00 p.m. with Mayor Gummere presiding. The meeting was called
to order with the Pledge of Allegiance.

of June 27, 1967, as presented.

Gemmill and seconded by Dreis that the nominations be closed and that
the Clerk cast a unanimous ballot for Mr. Anderson.

Outgoing Mayor Gummere stated that it had been a wonderful experience
and that in his opinion the year 1966~67 had been very successful and
thanked the Council, City Manager and all employees for their cooperation.
Mayor Anderson stated that if he would get the same cooperation:as Mr.
Gummere had had, 1967-68 would be equally successful.
Mr. Hamilton nominated Leslie Dreis as Mayor Pro Tem. It was moved
