Seal Beach, California September 18, 1967 The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session at 8:00 p.m. with Mayor Anderson presiding. The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance. Present: Mayor Anderson Councilmen Gummere, Gemmill, Hamilton, Dreis Councilmen - None Absent : It was moved by Gummere and seconded by Gemmill to approve the minutes of September 5, 1967, as presented. Regular demands #1706 through 11846, $33,672.90 and payroll demand #1847, $4~,676.89, totaling $77.,349.79 as approved by the Finance Committee were presented. It was moved by Hamilton and seconded by Dreis that the demands be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for the same. Communication from the County Counsel relating to procedure for cancellation of taxes was discussed. The City Attorney to prepare the proper resolution. I The City Manager conducted a public hearing in the matter of the: Plannin~ appeal of Myron Baker, 1235 Catalina Avenue, from Planning Commission 'ColIDllission , decision on Applic,tion V~18~67. A lenghty discussion followed Baker with Mr. Baker, members of the City Council, and the Planning Commission taking part. The Mayor declared ~he hearing closed.
