California September 23. 1963 The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regulAr adjourned session at 8:30 p.m. with Mayor Gemmill presiding. The meeting was called to order with the P1:edge of Allegiance., Present: Mayor Gemmill Councilmen: Nescher. Anderson. Leonard. Griswold Absent: tl None " Ordinance No. 632 (Parking District No.1) was presented by title by the City Attorney. It was moved by Anderson and seconded by Griswold to waive the second reading of Ordinance No. 632. that it be deemed as having had its second reading and be passed for adoption. Ord. ill... It was moved by Anderson and seconded by Leonard that the City Manager be authorized to execute a contract with Bayou Maintenance Service at $340.00 per month. AYES: NOES: Anderson, Leonard. Gemmill Nescher. Griswold II Motion carried. The request of Larson Hall at 14th and Electric for park- ing spaces on the Pacific Electric right-of-way across from their property was presented. It was moved by Gemmill and seconded by Leonard that the City Manager be ins~ructed to try and work out with the Pacific Electric a program of parking in certain areas. AYEs: NOES: Nescher. The City Attorney agreed to furnish m copy of the Courts adjudication in the Post and Wave matter. It was moved by Nescher and seconded by Anderson to pay the bill as presented.
