The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regulAr
adjourned session at 8:30 p.m. with Mayor Gemmill presiding. The
meeting was called to order with the P1:edge of Allegiance.,

Ordinance No. 632 (Parking District No.1) was presented by
title by the City Attorney. It was moved by Anderson and seconded by
Griswold to waive the second reading of Ordinance No. 632. that it be
deemed as having had its second reading and be passed for adoption.

The City Manager reported on the availability of appraisers
for the property in Parking District No.1. It was moved by Gemmill
and seconded by Leonard to employ Mr. Ableman as appraiser for the
district.

Electric Railway right-of-way for pu~poses of a canal through II

individuals who are working on the Master Plan of the City.

the maintenance contract of the City Hall was discussed. It was
moved by Anderson and seconded by Leonard that the City Manager be
authorized to execute a contract with Bayou Maintenance Service at
$340.00 per month.

The request of Larson Hall at 14th and Electric for park-
ing spaces on the Pacific Electric right-of-way across from their
property was presented. It was moved by Gemmill and seconded by
Leonard that the City Manager be ins~ructed to try and work out
with the Pacific Electric a program of parking in certain areas.

detail by' the City Attorney. The City Attorney agreed to furnish m
copy of the Courts adjudication in the Post and Wave matter. It
