It was moved by Anderson. seconded by Nescher, that during summer months surfing be allowed west of Second Street. between the hours of. 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and during the winter months, surfing be allowed in the are~westerly of Second Street between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.. weekdays, and on winter weekends surfing be allowed from 7:00 a.m. to ll:a.m. only. California March l6. 1964 The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session at 8:00 p.m. with Mayor Gemmill presiding. The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance. This being the time and place for a public hearing for an amendment to the Land Use Ordinance to require 900 square feet of Land land for each living unit etc.. in R-3 zone. the City Manager outlined Use the amendment in detail. In the matter of supplemental applica~ion for an on-sale beer and wine license for David Stangeland at 1499 Seal Way, the City Manager reported the history of the case. It was moved by Gemmill and , seconded by Leonard that the City file a general protest in behalf of the City as being incompatible with the general use of the area involved. The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular adjourned session at 8:00 p.m. with Mayor Pro-tem Leonard presiding. The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance. Griswold Absent: Mayor Gemmill The Mayor Pro-tem announced that this was the time and place fixed for the opening of bids for the construction of certain improve- ments. together with appurtenances and appurtenant work in connection therewith. in Seal Way and other streets in Assessment District No.2' in the City of Seal Beach. as described in Resolution of Intention No. l28l.
