that Al R. Leonard be elected Mayor.

It was moved by Nescher and seconded by Griswold that
Stanley Anderson be elected Mayor Pro Tempore.

Mayor Pro Tempore Anderson took the Chair.
Expressions of commendation to Dean Gemmill for his
services to the community were stated by all members

member of the Planning Commission to complete
the unexpired term of James Bender.

Upon the recommendation of the City Attorney it was
moved by Griswold and seconded by Nescher to instruct
the City Attorney to settle the case of Mitchell versus
City of Seal Beach, et aI, in an amount not to exceed
$275.00

ABSEijT: Mayor Leonard Motion carried.
Resolution No., 1309 (authorizing bank signatures) was
presented by the City Manager. It was moved by Nescher
and seconded by Griswold to adopt Resolution No. 1309.
