The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regu-
lar session at 8:00 p.m. with Mayor Anderson presiding. The
meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance.

approve the minutes ot August 17th and 31st, 1964. as presented.

the resignation ot Dean,H. Gemmill as a member of the Planning
Commission.

September 23rd,to discuss matters ot mutual interest in the Second

Mrs. V~ola Mendoza inquired about the recently publicized
grant for an Urban Planning Assistance.Program. The City Manager

The Ci ty Manager announced that he..was, calling a meeting
for September 24th at 7:00 p.m. to give an opportunity to all
interested citizens to discuss city prob~ems.
Reports of the Acoountant for July 1964 and the detailed
crime report of the Police Department were received and tiled.
