session at 8:00 p.m. with Mayor Anderson presiding. The meeting was

the minutes of January 18th and 26th 196$ as presented.

The Mayor announced that this was the time for a public
hearing of protests to the abatement of weeds. Mrs. Sadler or
l40-l42 l4th Street announced that she would do her own cleaning.
There being no other protests either written or oral. it was moved
by Gemmill and seconded by Nescher that the hearing be closed.

approved by the Finance Committee were presented. It was moved
by Nescher and seconded by Griswold that the demands be allowed
and warrants drawn on the Treasury for the same.

Gemmill that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare an ordinance
to close Catalina Avenue at Bay Bout'evard.

Reef had been approved and is now up to the legislature for final
approval and appropriation.
The City Manager suggested that all 1965 state legislation
be olosely watched because of the state apportionment problems.
