The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular
session at 8:00 p.m. with Mayor Anderson presiding. The meeting
was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance.

It was moved by Griswold and seconded by Gemmill to
approve the minutes of March 22, 1965 as presented.

decided to withhold the second reading of Ordinance No. 661 until
the Standard Oil Company has executed the proposed lease.
Resolution No. 1369 (Loyola Plaza Tr. No. 5847-Vacate)
was presented by the City Attorney. It was moved by Griswold and
seconded by Gemmill to adopt Resolution No. 1369 and to designate
May 3, 1965 as the date for public hearing.

in reference to the issuance of liquor licenses over the protests
of cities. After oonsiderable discussion, the City Manager and
City Attorney were instructed to prepare a resolution to instigate
proper legislation.

the April 1St 1965 deadline for completion, to read and be April 15,
1966, and whereas said correotion was not made,. the Mayor is hereby
authorized and instructed to change the date, April 15, 1965 to read
April 15, 1966,' and initial said ohange.
