The meeting was called to order with the iledge of Allegiance. . Present: Mayor Calvo Councilmen: Flanagan, ROSS, Spencer, ~ancre Absent: II II None The Minutes of the regular meeting of Maroh l8th and the regular 9;djourned meetings of March 19th and 25th, 1958, were read and approved on the Mayor's motion. Reports of the Police, Building and Lioense Departments for the month of March were presented. It was moved by Spencer and seconded by Tancre to receive and file' the City Officers II reports. AYES: NOES: Flanagan, Hoss, Spencer, ~ancre, Calvo None Motion carried. Demands, payroll No. 301 to 351 inclusive and regular No. 7188 to 72.50 inclusive, totaling $l8,119.78 were presented. - . It was moved by Flanagan and seconded by Spencer that Ordinance No. 518 be deemed as having had its. second reading and be passed for adoption. Mr. Caldwell, Director of Public Service submitted a . . survey of license fees for building trades. A~ter some discuss- ion the matter was tabled for further study. ~he matter of the purchasing of a stove for the City Hall kitchen was referred to the Building Committee. Mr. Tancre sugBested a resolution be adopted in regard to the County Fire District tax rate. More information needed. It was moved by Ross and seconded by Spencer to adjourn.
