The C1erk stated that the meeting of the state Lands Commission was to be held for the purpose of granting Monterey Oil Company a permit to add an additional wharf to the island. Milkes be received and filed. Mr. Leonard suggested that more trash cans be placed in business areas to discourage "littering". Referred to Mr. Caldwell. Mr. Leoaard.reported that he and Mr. Jones had purchased a new stove for the.auditorium kitchen. Mrs. James Jensen complained of the rust condition of the water in her area. ~eferred to Mr. Caldwell. . I Miss Charlotte Shuman called attention to the camp fires on the west beach. Referred to the Police Department. Mr. Leonard suggested that several banks be contacted to survey the City for a possible brancb bank.
