The City Counci~ of the City of Seal Beach met in regu-
lar session at 7:30 P.M. with Mayor Ross presiding. The meeting
was oalled to order with the Pledge of Allegianoe.

Mayo~Ross announoed that the first order of business
Drainage
would be to open bids, as advertised for a porti.on of the "North
East storm Drainage Projeot". The following bids were opened;
1. Gardner & MoCall
2. Edwin L. Barkley
$ 14,360.00
12,690.00
The bids were referred to the City Engineer for analysis.
The minutes of the regular meeting of November 5. 1958
were read and approved on the Mayor1s motion.
Reports of the water and Tax Departments and the City
Clerk and City Treasurer for the month of October, 1958 were
presented. It was moved by Jones and seconded by Tancre to reoeive
and file the City Officers reports.

Mr. Caldwell reported that the bids were in order and

be authorized to execute the agreement, pending report of the

moved by Flanagan and seconded by Jones that the demands be

Resolution No. 1011 (Designating Fifth street as a
street of Major Importance) was presented by the City Attorney.
