Payroll demands No. 2424 to 2480 inclusive., and regular demands No.8199 to 8841 inclusive, totaling $20,1.41.80 as approved by the Finance Committee were presented. Steinman presented a petition signed by twenty-two resi- dents requesting a special assessment district be formed to beautif,y the Pacifio Electric right-of-wa;y. The City Attorne,y explained that such distriot P.E. !!l=- could net be formed on leased property. After some disoussion a clean-up program was referred to the City Engineer. The c! ty Engineer reported that a meeting of engineers connected Bch. with the beaoh groin construction projeot would be held concerning final Groin - acoeptanoe. An on-sale liquor license for 117 Main Street was discussed. Resolution No. 1044 (Protesting issuance of Liquor, Lioense) was presented by the City Attorney.
