City Clerk I Seal Beach, California November 17, 1959 The City Council of the City of Seal Beaoh met in regular session at 7:30 P.M. with Mayo~ Ross presiding. The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegianoe. Present: Mayor Ross Councilmen: Flanagan, Jones, Leonard, Tanore Absent: " None " The minutes of the regular meeting of November 3, 1959 II were read and approved on the Mayor's motion. Reports of the City G~~~:',' and City Treasurer for the month of Ootober, 1959 were presented. It was moved by Tancre and seoonded by Jones that the Ci~y-Uftioers reports be reoeived and filed. AYES: NOES:' Flanagan, Jones, Leonard, Tancre, Ross None Motion carried. I I I 265 Payroll demands No. 2481 to 2531 inclusive and regular demands No. 8842 to 8889 inclusive, totaling $67,254.17 as approved by the Finance Committee, with the exoeption of demand . ' No. 8889 were presented. This demand for the Pacifio Bridge Co. was discussed at length. The final bill for $40,711.65 less $2,000.00 to guarantee repair of beach groin was explained by Mr. Frank Niohols and the City Engineer. It was moved by Tancre . and seconded by Flanagan that Pacifio Bridge Company demand No. 8889 for $38,711.65 be paid on condition that repairs be made to . the beach groin without additional cost to the City. AYES: NOES: Flanagan, Jones, Leonard, Tanore, Ross -None Motion oarried. It was moved by Jones and seoonded by Flanagan that the demands be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for the same. Request of Seal Beach Disposal Company to re-sohedule pick-ups of garbage and trash was tabled to next meeting. Request of the Parent-Teacher Association for use of the Youth Center was referred to the Chief of Polioe.
