The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance. Present: ~ayor Gibbs Councilmen: Flanagan, Jones, Leonard, Gemmill None Absent: 11 11 Letter of recommendation from the Planning Commission approving the construction of an addition'to the MoGaugh School, as required by the Eduoation Code was presented. It was moved by Jones and seconded by Flanagan to approve the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Plan. Comm. - AYES: NOES: Flanagan, Jones, Leonard, Gemmill, Gibbs None Motion carried. Letter of request of the Planning Commission to designate Plan. eaoh lot or parcel of land with the same nRn designation under the Comm. proposed zoning code was read. It was moved by Flanagan and seconded by Gemmill to approve the recommendation. AYES: NOES: Flanagan, Jones, Leonard, Gemmill, Gibbs None Motion carried. Letter of objection to an additional umbrella stana in front of her residenoe at 706 Ocean Avenue, by Mrs. Dorothy Henkey was read and dis~ussed. Mr. Stangeland explained that it would be removed. Location referred to Mr. Caldwell. Request of the Chamber of Commerce to use the Youth Center and City H411 Auditorium June 4th in oonnection with their annual Miss Seal Beaoh Beauty Contest and Queen's Ball was approved. AnnounceMent of the Orange County League of Cities meet- ing Laguna Beaoh, April 28th was received and filed. Mr. Buck read a letter from the Naval Distriot protesting the proposed Rossmore annexation. Boh. Cham Comm. The proposed amended trampoline ordinanoe was discussed at length. tram~ oline The Mayor oalled a five minute recess. The meeting reconvened at 9:05 P.M. . It was moved by Jones and seoonded by Gemmill to table the proposed trampoline ordinanoe. AYES: NOES: Flanagan, Jones, Leonard, Gemmill, Gibbs None Motion carried. 306 City bound aries Sub Div. Mr. Caldwell displayed a map and explained the ownership in fee or by perpetual easement of land in the Marina area at the westerly boundary of the City. Mr. Edward Keller inquired about the masonery wall in the sUbdivision. Mr. Buok explafned the legal steps neoessary. Mayor Gibbs appointed Mr. Keller chairman of a oommittee to in- vestigate the files for probable legal aotion. Mosquito abatement problems were referred to Mr. Caldwell. Billboards in the subdivision were briefly discussed. It was moved by Leonard and seconded by Jones to adjourn.
