session at 7:30 P.M. with Mayor Gibbs presiding. The meeting "was
called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mayor Gibbs announced that this was the time for a second
public hearing on the Northeast Street Improvement District.
The City Attorney explained the purpose of the hearing and

and that the project had not been changed since the first hearing.
Mr. Esterly protested the amount of $182.50 to be assessed

Pollution Control Board hearing April 19th in the City Hall.
Notice of application to transfer an off-sale beer and
wine license at 1430 Ocean Avenue was received and filed.
Resolution No. 1107 (Supporting the purchase by 'Orange
County of Surplus land in the Ammunition Depot) was presented by
the City Attorney. It was moved by Gemmill and seconded by Jones
to adopt Resolution No. 1107.

division. Mr. Buck reported building plans were in progress in

draft a proposed"agreement of wall construction in Tract 1817 on
Pacific Coast Highway.
Mr. Jim Bentson. President of the Chamber of Commerce
addressed the Council requesting $250.00 to help defray expenses
of the "Miss Seal Beach Contest", July 14th and 15th. It was
moved by Leonard and seconded by Jones to earmark $250.00 as the
City's share toward conducting the program as oub1ined by Mr.

Attorney's office, commending certain local police officers for
efficiency.

hereby calls and gives notice of a Special Meeting of the City
Council of the City of Seal Beach to be held and convened at the
