The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular
session at 1:30 p.m. with Mayor Gibbs presiding. The meeting was
called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance.
The invocation was given by Rev. Ralph Supplee, Methodist
Church.

of Leisure World Tract Map No. 4401 was discussed. It was moved by
Jones and seconded by Gemmill to approve the recommendation. of the
Planning Commission and to accept tentative tract map No. 4401.

City Council approve the final tract map 4401, for Leisure World
subdivision and authorize the City Engineer to sign same on completion
of water line easements to be dedicated to the City being shown on the
final tract map, subject to the approval of the City Engineer.

A letter commending the Police Department was received and
filed.
The City Manager reported that the Division of Highways
had approved left turn pockets and signals at Main Street and Bay
Blvd. on Coast Highway at a total cost of $160,000. The City to
pay half of $37,000 for signal installation of $18,500.
Earlier dates of payments for property tax allocation from
County collection of taxes was reported by the City Manager.

on the Planning Commission. Mr. Leonard nominated TOM Crowley. Mr
