Ingram, City Manager FROM: Linda Devine, City Clerk SUBJECT: REVIEW LIST OF VACANCIES ON 2011 SEAL BEACH BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, & COMMITTEES SUMMARY OF REQUEST: Accept the resignation from Richard D'Sa (District 4 representative) as a member on the AdHoc General Plan /Local Coastal Program Citizens Advisory Committee. BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS: At the September 26, 2011 City Council meeting, the Council directed staff to advertise in the local Sun newspaper and on the City's website for interested residents who would like to become more involved to submit an application for consideration for various boards, commissions, and committees. The applications would be kept on file in the City Clerk's office for a period of 2 years - those applying may be considered for current vacancies and /or future board, commission, or committee positions that may be created by the Council. Attached is a list of current members on the boards, commissions, and committees and the vacancies. Also attached are the applications submitted for consideration of current vacancies. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There is no Environmental Impact related to this item. LEGAL ANALYSIS: No legal analysis is required for this item. FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no Financial Impact.
