The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance. Present: Mayor Pro-tem Calvo Councilmen, LaWhead, Leonard, Flanagan Absent: " " Clark ,I Mr. Lynn .0. Hossom appeared before the Council and agreed to amend the application of the Hancock Oil Company for a 'pipeline franchise by including a minimum annual payment equal to 1/2~ per inch of inside diameter per lineal foot of pipellaid under said franchise. It was moved by Flanagan and seconded by Lawhead that the City Attorney be authorized and directed to advertise in accordance with Sec. 2 of the Brough- ton Act, that said franchise application together with a state- Ment that it proposed to grant the same pursant to said appli- catioq as aMended at this Meeting to provide for a miniMum annual payment as above stated. Resolution No. 881 ( a resolution declaring the results of said election official) was presented by the City Clerk. It was Moved by Leonard and seconded by Lawhead to adopt Resolution No. 881.
