At the suggestion of Mr. Buck, it was moved by Calvo
and seconded by Flanagan that the Hancock.Oil Co. and Standard
Gas Co. be permitted to install two (2) pipelines, one 6" and
one 4'" in Bay Blvd.. and one 4" pipeline in Bolsa Avenue as
shown on Exhibit "A" attached to-Resolution No. 906.

The matter of use of the City Hall apartment was referred
to the City Engineer and Chief of Police to work out.
Mr. Leonard asked about the distribution of the insur-
ance commissions. Mr. Marron stated that M~s. Havens had advised
him that she had referred the matter to her company.
Mr; Leonard asked about the status of the Fifth Street
extension project. Mr. Buck stated that all papers had been sent

It was moved by Calvo and seconded by Flanagan to ad-
journ until Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1955 at 7:30 p.m.

Th~ City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regu-
lar adjourned session at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor Clark presiding. I
The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Letter from the Metropolitan Water District, relative
to the levy and collection of taxes was referred to the City Clerk
to answer as in the past years.

Announcement of the Orange County Coast Association
of fall meeting at Laguna Beach, TueSday, November 29, 1955 was
received and filed. ~eservations to be made with the Clerk.
Second order extending time to reroute certain Long
Beach Motor Bus lines and service from the Public Ut~lities
Beach_
Commission was received and filed.
Letter of appreciation from the Seal Beach Lions Club
for the support of the City in the recent City-wide Halloween
Party was received and filed.
In regard to recent letters from Frederic Bessinger
relative to construction of bu~lding at 1617 Seal Way, the City
Clerk was instructed on a~vice of the City Attorney to advise
Mr. Bessinger that his complaint was a civil matter and that he

After considerable discussion relative to the amount

pf the surety bond and agreement in the matter of the sub-divis-
ion, the agreement was referred to the City Attorney for further
study and consulation with the City Engineer.
. Mr. Marron reported .that he had discussed the City Hall
apartment further with the Chief of Police an~ it was decided
that without a direct stairway to the apartment from the Police
Department, it would not suit their purposes. Mr. Marron was
directed to prepare the apartment for future Building and Engin-, Jr.
