COMMUNICATIONS: Letter'of the Flre Chlef recommending the purchase of a Flsher Plpe F~r and Leak Detector. It was moved by Bowers, second by Webster that a Model M, as recommended ln letter, be purchased at a prlce of $350.00. Jordan, Secretary of State, making report on status of Green Meadow Olub, wfth notation by Chlef Howard that there hadn1t been any final inspectlon by the Flre and Building 'Inspectors on the structure. Buildlng Commlttee reported on request of Glenn Jones Jones to construct a windbreak fence in front of property at Fifth Street Fenoe - , and Central Avenue. It was moved by Granger, second by Leonard that a non-conformlng permlt be granted and Bullding Inspector direoted to lssue the usual building permit. Mayor Shufelt reported that the Navy Department had Navy - for an indeflnite perlod withdrawn any proposal to lease the Anahelm Bay Harbor.
