The City Counoil of the City of Seal Beaoh met in regular
session at 8:00 P. M. with Mayor Shufelt presiding. Meeting was
oalled to order with salute to the Flag.

Request of Ray DeVos for license and permit 'to conduct a
penny arcade in his building at 143 Main Street. Tabled until more
complete information on the operation of the games is supplied.
Letter of the Press-Telegram assuring the City that they
were carrying ample insurance against any liability caused by their
news-vending racks referred to City Attorney to take up with their
Executive Editor Mr. H. F. Burmester.
Announcement from the Shoreline ~lanning Association of
their annual convention and asking for a $50.00 membership fee in
support of the Association. Received and filed.
Renewal contract for servicing City Hall heating by
Southland Hearing, Inc. It was moved by Bowem, second by Webster
that said services be discontinued.
Motion carried.
Demands numbering 250 to 311 inclusive amounting to
$8,377.16 as approved by the Finance Committee were presented.
