A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CLASSIFICATION
PLAN BY RECLASSIFYING THE CLASSIFICATION OF
COMMUNITY SERVICES SUPERVISOR TO THE
CLASSIFICATION OF RECREATION MANAGER
WHEREAS, amending the classification plan to add the classification of
Recreation Manager, and eliminating the classification of Community Services
Supervisor is warranted, including appropriate compensation, to accurately
reflect the current duties and responsibilities; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the proposed amendment is included within the FY
2012/13 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. The classification of Community Services Supervisor is hereby
reclassified to Recreation Manager and the classification of
Community Services Supervisor s hereby eliminated from the
classification plan.
Section 2. The classification of Recreation Manager is hereby added to the
classification plan. . A copy of the Recreation Manager class
specification is attached hereto.
Section 3. The other classifications in the classification plan are hereby
amended to reflect reporting requirements necessitated by this
change in classification title and responsibilities.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the Seal Beach City Council at a
regular meeting held on the 23rd day of July , 2012 by the following vote:
