The City Council of the Clty of Seal Beach met in regular session at
S:OO P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Ashman with salute to
the Flag.

Letter of Walter G. Howell bid for Pier Lease, to wit 875.00
-, per month for the seven summer months, 850. per month for the five

Gauntner motio~ed that City lease the pier to the Boy's Club with
a 60 day cancellation clause for the nominal sum of $1.00 per annum
and recind the $100. monthly payment now belng received by the Boy'. s

contract on the above basis, seconded by Shouler

directed to amend the Police Salary Ordinance with a wage scale as
follows, Chlef of Police $250. per month with $30. additional for
use of his personal car, Captain of Police $225. Sargent $20,.
Patrolmen with 6 months experience or after 6 months on the force
$195., inexperienced for the first six months, 8180. second by Jaeckel

Reso'n Memorandum of Agreement for the 1/4 cent gas tax expenditure, Gauntner
