SOLD BUSINESS
EQUIPMENT REPAIR
Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that the hard drive recorder had arrived however there are some unusual methods in
obtaining the software to be able to actually use the deck. She said she will be working on acquiring that
information and downloading the software. She stated that the Kramer devices to enhance the computer feed in
the council chambers have also arrived and she will be installing them when there is an appropriate break
between meetings.
Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that she discovered the battery belt in the LW edit bay room was unplugged and asked
the two LW board members if they were aware of how long it has been unplugged and if anyone uses it. Mr.
Osuna stated that no one has used the battery belt in a very long time. There was discussion that the belt has
probably completely discharged by now and since, no one is using it, it would not be replaced until it seems
needed in the future.
Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that she thought it would be a good idea to take the van down to the hand car wash Big
Daddy's in Sunset Beach to have it waxed after the McGaugh shoot in June. She said it might help to keep the
paint in better condition for a longer period of time. The board concurred.
FUNDING FOR PROGRAMS
Ms. Fort-Lincke explained that the next upcoming shoot would be the McGaugh 4th Grade concert on June 7`h.
She said that first historical interview from the series Life and Times in Seal Beach began airing in early May
and that subsequent interviews would be scheduled as people's scheduled allowed.
AUDIENCE COMMUNICATION
Mr. Rob Roy was present in the audience. He thanked the board for all that they do in providing public access
to the community. He stated that he felt that Sgt. Raul Ahumada from the Seal Beach Police Department had
spent a great deal of his personal time to help the station manager build out the mobile production truck, going
far beyond the basic support of the efforts of the SBTV-3. He suggested a letter be written to the Police Chief
on behalf of the board of directors and public access producers recognizing Sgt. Ahumada's generous
contribution. Ms. Fielding also suggested a gift certificate to a local restaurant in the amount of$50. There was
discussion. The board concurred.
REPORTS
PEG STATION MANAGER/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORT
Ms. Fort-Lincke stated that the McGaugh 30th Annual Pageant of the Arts was a huge success. She said that she
covered the Thursday night event and also covered the Saturday morning event as well as the evening alumni
dance. She also explained that she created a video of the history of the pageant that was played on Saturday
during the day in the auditorium and very well-received by the pageant director, teachers, and music composer.

completed and that more interviews would follow throughout the next several years, leading into the 100th year
anniversary. She stated that the first two interviews went very well.
