The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session
at 8:00 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Gauntner.

The minutes of regular meeting of June, 20, were read and

approved on Mayor's motion. The minutes of Speclal meeting of
July 25, were read and approved on Mayor's motion.
COMMUlUCATIONS:
Letter from the Secretary of the Huntington Beach, County
Fair. It was moved, by Butler, seconded by Jaeckel that the same
~ be referred to the Chamber of Commerce.

State Board of Equalization acknowledging receipt of City Assessors
Annual report. CouncilwomaJ~~~ved to receive and file, seconded

Koch, asking for return of Housing Re-Location bond. It was

Letter of Benno and Johnson, addressed to Building Inspector
Xrinwinkel asking for a permit to move a frame building to lot at
327, Main Street. Councilwoman Reed objected on account of fire
hazard and establishing precedent for others to do the sam~that
letter be referred back to the Building.Inspector. It was moved
by Shouler, seconded by Butler that the permit be granted on a
temporary basis.

Council and explained the steps necessary to obtain priority1s
