M. and was called to order by Mayor Gauntner with salute to the Flag. ROLL CALL: Present, Abs ent , Mayor Gauntner Councilmen, Reed, Shouler, Butler, Jaeckel I None / CO)lMUNIOATIONS: Letter from Ellen M. Congrove, Chairman of the local O. O.P,A. P. A. Office asking the City Council to supply a junior full tim e $100. paid clerk at $100. per month. It was moved by Councilman Butler, seconded by Jaeckel that at the pleasure of the Council it would allow to the local O. P. A. Office, from the Civilian Defense fund $100. per month. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Reed, Shouler, Butler, Jaeckel, Gauntner None None Motion carried It was moved by Butler, seconded by Reed that letters from the Army Service Forces be received and filed. Motion carried I Letter of Southern California Edison Co., calling attention to removal of dim-out on street lights. It was moved by Councilwoman Reed, seconded by Butler that demands as read be allowed, and warrants be drawn on the Treasury for same. Knighton to get prices on its re-habilitation and report results at next regular meeting. Sn. Motion carried Mayor Gauntner appointed Councilmen Butler and Jaeckel as a co~~ittee to investigate and report upon conditions prevailing at the trailer park. It was moved by Butler~ seconded by Jaeckel that Purchasing Tral'r Park . Agent Krenwinkel investigate and report on the best possible type of Incin'r incenerator for the disposal of City refuse.
