The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in adjourned
session at 2:00 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Gauntner
with salute to the Flag.

paid clerk at $100. per month. It was moved by Councilman Butler,
seconded by Jaeckel that at the pleasure of the Council it would
allow to the local O. P. A. Office, from the Civilian Defense
fund $100. per month.

The Council discussed the large highway electric sign and
requested Mr. W. S. Knighton to get prices on its re-habilitation
and report results at next regular meeting.
