M. and was called to order by Mayor Gauntner with salute to the Flag. ROLL CALL: Present, Mayor Gauntner Councilmen, Reed, Butler, Jaeckel Absent, Councilman, Shouler The minutes of regular meeting of September 7th were read I and approved on Mayor's motion. COMMUNICATIONS: Trees Letter of Ernest R. Muse, asking the removal of two palm trees located adj.acent to his property at 6th and Central Ave. It was moved by Councilwoman Reed, seoonded by Butler t~ receive and file the communication and that request be granted. Motion carried Muse Palm Letter of Vincent Disalateo asking for return of his Housing Re-Location Bond Deposit, O. K'd By'B. F, Krenwinkle, Hous1n It was moved by Councilman Butler, seconded by Jaeckel' that the Re-Loc, City Treasurer be directed to so do. AYES: 1-0E8 : ABSENT: Reed, Butler, Jaeckel, Gauntner None Shouler I Motion carried Truck It was moved by Councilwoman Reed, seconded by Jaeckel that City Clerk advertise for bids on a one and one half(lt) ton flat bed truck for the maintenance department. It was moved by Councilwoman Reed, seconded by Butler that reports as read be received and filed. AYES: NOES: ASSENT: Reed, Butler, Jaeckel, Gauntner None Shouler I Motion carried Meisen Bond. It was moved by Councilwoman Reed, seconded by Butler that the motion in the meeting of September 7th to return 60% of the Housing Re-Location Bond Deposit of Ruth and Fred J. Ueisen be recinded, due to the fact that the deposlt was assumed to be cash instead of a Fidelity bond, However to continue the bond for 120 additional days. It was moved by Jaeckel, aeconded by Butler that Ordinance No, 297 be deemed as having had its third reading by title and do now pass. It was moved by Butler, seconded by Jaeckel that the City Miller Smith Attorney be directed to prepare a new Ordinance fixing the com- Salr'y pensation of C. A. Miller at $300.00 a month and Lucile W.
