Truck
The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in special
session at 7:4~ P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Gauntner
with salute to the Flag.

City Clerk read call for Special Meeting.
It was moved by Councilman Butler, seconded by Shouler that
the City Clerk be directed to advertise for bids on a new one and
one-half ton truck for the Maintenance Department.

It was moved by Councilman Jaeckel, seconded by Shouler that
Councilwoman Reed visit some of the firms in Los Angeles who would

the supreme sacrifice. That a floral spray be sent to the mortuary
for those of the armed services who may be buried here. Further

Mayor Gauntner spoke briefly on the amount of signatures
secured favoring the Beach location for the Civic Auditorium.
Councilwoman Reed cautioned that the expanding of service utili-

Motion by Reed to adjourn, seconded by Jaeckel.
