M. and was called to order by Mayor Gauntner with salute to the Flag. Adv I PRESE?:T: Mayor Gauntner, Councilmen, Butler, None Reed, Shouler, Jaeckel ABSENT: City Clerk read call for Special Meeting. It was moved by Councilman Butler, seconded by Shouler that the City Clerk be directed to advertise for bids on a new one and one-half ton truck for the Maintenance Department. AYES: lTOES: ABSENT: Butler, Reed, Shouler, Jaeckel, Gauntner None ~one Uotion carried It was moved by Councilman Jaeckel, seconded by Shouler that Councilwoman Reed visit some of the firms in Los Angeles who would Memor'l be in a position to supply an appropriate me~orial that could be Plaque presented from the City to the family of Service men and women of I Seal Beach, who in the armed services of their country have paid the supreme sacrifice. That a floral spray be sent to the mortuary for those of the armed services who may be buried here. Councilwoman Reed cautioned that the expanding of service utili- Aud I tn ties must be also taken under consideration for the expenditure of Sign's surplus available funds that the City may soon be in possession of.
