The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in adjourned
session at 7:30 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Gauntner.
Present,
Absent,
Mayor Gauntner, Councilmen, Jaeokel, Shouler
Reed, Butler
Letter from the Seoretary, 'California police 'Radio Aseociation,
Pollce to Federal Communication Commission was read. Received and
Radio filed on Mayor's motion.
It was moved by Counoilman Shouler, seoonded by Jaeckel

It was moved by Councilman Jaeckel, seconded by Shouler that

owned vacant lots at 8th Street and Gentral Avenue and prepare

A number of citizens were present and protested vigorously
the proposed Honolulu Oil Corp., lease of City beach property.
Honoll Mayor Gauntner said that he would not approve ths signing of any
Oil oil lease until the citizens have a chancs to vote upon and do
Protest approve of it. Councilman Jaeckel stated he was against oil drilling
same for park purposes.

Shouler stated that he had always been against oil drilling any-
where in the City of Seal Beach.
It was moved by Councilman Jaeckel, seconded by Shouler that
the Maintenance Foreman be directed to resurface ths south side of
Ave
Elsctric Avenue east of Main Street.
Motion oarried
It was moved by Councilman Jaeckel to adjourn, seconded
by Shouler.
