M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute to the Flag. I Present, Absent, Mayor Jaeckel Councilmen, Shouler, Shufelt, Reed Butler None The Minutes of regular meeting of April 2, and special meeting of April 12, were read and approved on Mayors motion. COMMUNICATIONS: State Board of Equalization notification on Cirole Cafe, re- ceived and filed on Mayors motion. Letter of Inez Lane received and filed on Mayors motion. f Reports' of City Engineer on alley1s north of Electric Avenue Engls and the west end drainage problem. It was moved by Councilwoman Reed, Circle Oafe Inez Lane . Report seconded by Shouler that reports be reoeived and filed. Motion carried I Reports of City Treasurer and City Olerk for month of March were read. It was moved by Councilwoman Reed, seconded by Butler . , that reports be reoeived and filed. Motion carried City Attorney Williams reported on progress of Navy settlement. - ACCOUNTS 'AND BILLS: Demands numbering 1091 to 1136 inclusive, amounting to $3,675.59 were read. It was moved by Oounoilwoman Reed, seconded by Butler that demands as read be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for same. Dep1 It was moved by Councilman Butler, seconded by Shufelt that Asst the Oity Attorney be instructed to prepare a resolution fixing the- Formn salary of an Assistant Foreman, Maintenance Department at a monthly Salary 6 wage of 9235.00 and that said foreman be eubject to call twenty four hours a day.
