M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute to the Flag. Present, Mayor 'Jaeckel Councilmen, Shouler, Shufelt, Reed, Butler. None Absent, The minutes of regular meeting of June 19, were read and approved on Mayors motion. COMMUNICATIONS: Circle State Board of Equalization, notification of name change in Cafe ownership of the Circle Oafe. Planning Commission letter on footage required in garage apart- Gar1ge Apt ment, feferred to the City Attorney for attention. . Letter of the Fire Department requesting that ordinance be drawn Incin erat1r Ord Tax Deed Lot I Plann Comm'n Din1r Norton- City Ofcrs Rep1rt re~uiring property owners to install incinerators. It was moved by Councilman Butler, seconded by Shouler that City Attorney be dir- ected to prepare such ordinance. Received and filed and City Clerk to write Mr. Armstrong letter of thanks. It'was moved by Councilwoman Reed, seconded by Butler that the City recind__ its action of taking title to said lot and that the City Tax Coll- .ector be authorized to accept payment and issue the usual redempt- ion certificate. Motion carried Letter of Philip Norton on results of his visit with the State Lands Commission, Sacramento was read. Resolution No. 554 was introduced. A resolution providing for additional lands for disposal plant and City yard expansion. It was moved by Councilman Shouler, seconded by Reed that Ordinance No. 312 be deemed as having had its second reading. Dolby of the Seal Beach Trailer.Park appeared before the Council in connection with sewer connections with the Cities disposal plant. It was moved by Cou.~cilman Butler, seconded by Shouler that Rollie Vinzant be named as Chairman for the forthcoming War Chest Campaign, and City Clerk to write Mr. Vinzant of his appointment. Motion carried Councilman Butler reQussted that the minutes carry this statement liThe Boys Club Refreshment stand would sell merchandise only in original packages.
