Conditional Use Permit 97-8 Address: 308 and 310 Ocean Avenue Applicant: Brent Sears, Architect Property Owner: Dwight Steffensen Request: To perform a major addition/remodel to a non-conforming single family dwelling at 308 and 310 Ocean Avenue, Seal Beach. The property is non-conforming due to an inadequate rear yard setback and inadequate side yard setback on the northwesterly side of the structure. The proposal includes the addition of 4,654 square feet, which would entail the attachment of adjacent single family residences at 308 and 310 Ocean. Recommendation: Staff recommends approval through the adoption of Resolution No. 97-_, subject to Conditions of Approval. 5. Variance 97-3 Address: Applicant: Property Owner: Request: 12341 Seal Beach Boulevard Kevin McConnell Century National Properties To vary from the maximum sign age area requirements for fascia mounted signs at the front and rear of a commercial building at 12341 Seal Beach Boulevard.
