The City Council of t~e City of Seal Beach met in regular session
at 7:30 P. M. and wae called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute
to the nag.

The Minutes of regular meeting of October 18, were read and
approved after slight correction upon Mayors motion.
COMMUNIOATIONS:
Letter of the Beal Beach Riflemen, thanking the Oouncil fcr
lease of the pier. Received and filed.
Letter and carbon oopy to the Chamber of Commerce from the
California Bank. Received and F1le!.
Letter of G. Stangeland making offer for rent of buil~ing on
the beach held over for future consideration and study.
Final report of A. W. Armstrong, Chairman Seli\. Beach Salvage CQIlm

Report for the month of October of City Judge, Pol1ce Chief ,

and of the Building, Water and Tax Departments were read as was
City Attorneys reports on oondemnation suit for additional sewer
plant land. Operation of boats from the Cities Pier and account on
Navy's settlement of payment for property acquired from the Ci '!i1.., ,
The City Attorney handed the Mayor check in the amount of 8280.000.00

and filed.

It was moved by Butler that letters be written to the DeArmonds
expressing appreoiation for their children's Hallowe'en fun carniva~,
also the Rifle Club and Amerioan Legion for their fine co-Operation,
in assisting the POlioe Department in maintaining order Hallowe'en.
