M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute to the Flag. Present, May.ori~aeokelo~l Councilmen, Shouler, Shufelt, Butler, Reed Councilmen, None Absent, The minutes of regular meeting of March 7th were read and appro- ved on Mayors motion. COLlLlUNICATIONS: Board of Equalization notice of transfer of liquor license from Eq- John T? Carlson to Charlie F. Baker. Received and Filed. Losch Letter of Mrs. Losch complaining of telephone pole in rear yard. Phone Pole Council directed that the subdividers of the property be communicated with and see if matter cannot be adjusted. It was moved by Shufelt, second by Reed that Planning Commission recommendation of re-zoning Lots 12 - 14 Block 10 Bay City be approv- ed and City Attorney directed to bring in an amendment to Ordinanoe No. 199 to allow for this ohange. Motion carried It was moved by Shouler, second by Reed that Frank McElrath's request to Planning Commission for the building of two houses on one plot of ground at l5~h & Landing provided both houses contained 650 or mare square feet. be approved. Motion carried CITY OFFICERS REPORTS: Report of the City Treasurer and City Clerk for the month of February were read. City Attorney read contracts between the City and National Cast Iron Pipe Co and the Acme Spray Painters. Read letter from City Attorney's office Long Beach on the bus routing, and from the Pacific Railway Co. on Main Street crossing also explained statis of lots across from the City Hall. It was moved by Shufelt, second by Shufelt tkat rep08ts be received and filed. Motion carried ACCOUNTS AND BILLS: Demands numbering 950 to 971 inclusive amounting to $2,059.35 were read. It was moved by Reed, second by Butler that demands as read be AYES: ABSENT: NOES: approved and warrants drawn on the Shufelt, Butler, Reed, Jaeckel Shouler None Treasury for eame. Motion carried Ord. 322 Ordinance No. 322 was read, an amendment to zoning ordinance 199 It was moved by Butler, second by Shouler that Ordinance No. 322 be deemed as having has its 2nd reading. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Shouler, Shufelt, Butler, Reed, Jaeckel None None Motion carried Ordiance No. 322 was read by title. It was moved by Butler, 2nd by Shouler that Ordinance No. 322 be deemed as having had its 3rd reading by title and do now pass. I Motion carried Reso Resolution No. 583 was introduced. Census report to Department 5S3 of Finance. It was moved by Butler, second by Shouler that Reso- lution No. 583 be adopted. Reso 5S4 Neptune Ave Motion carried Resolution No. 584 was introduced.
