The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regu~ar session
at 7:30 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute
to the Flag.

The minutes of regular meeting of March 7th were read and appro-
ved on Mayors motion.
COLlLlUNICATIONS:
Board of Equalization notice of transfer of liquor license from
Eq- John T? Carlson to Charlie F. Baker. Received and Filed.
Losch Letter of Mrs. Losch complaining of telephone pole in rear yard.
Phone
Pole Council directed that the subdividers of the property be communicated
with and see if matter cannot be adjusted.

Letter of Department of Finance approving transfer of sites funds.

It was moved by Shufelt, second by Reed that Planning Commission
recommendation of re-zoning Lots 12 - 14 Block 10 Bay City be approv-
ed and City Attorney directed to bring in an amendment to Ordinanoe
No. 199 to allow for this ohange.

It was moved by Shouler, second by Reed that Frank McElrath's
request to Planning Commission for the building of two houses on one
plot of ground at l5~h & Landing provided both houses contained 650
or mare square feet. be approved.

CITY OFFICERS REPORTS:
Report of the City Treasurer and City Clerk for the month of
February were read. City Attorney read contracts between the City
and National Cast Iron Pipe Co and the Acme Spray Painters. Read
letter from City Attorney's office Long Beach on the bus routing, and
from the Pacific Railway Co. on Main Street crossing also explained
statis of lots across from the City Hall. It was moved by Shufelt,
second by Shufelt tkat rep08ts be received and filed.
