The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular
session at 8:00 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with
alute to the Flag.

The minutes of regular meeting of March 21, were read and appro~
on Mayors Motion.
It was moved by ButIert, second by Shufelt-that request of
Maxine M. Kirkbride for license to operate the Diamond Cab 60mpany of
Seal Beach be grante~;1Cnd a license issued for same.

It was moved by Butler, second by Shouler that upon recommendation
of City Attorney'request of George O. Peek, Pastor First Brethern
Church for cancellation of 1945 - 46 taxes on church property be
granted.

CITY OFFICERS REPORTS:
Report ~or the month of March of Police Chief, City Judge, Build-
ing, Water and Tax Department, City Attorney read legal opinion on
mutilation of Ballots. Reported on Proceedure begun to have name of
Anaheim Landing changed to Seal Beach Harbor and reported on the
creation of speci~l aseessment districts. It was moved by Butler,
second by Shouler that City officers reports be approved.
