M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute to the Flag. Present, Absent, Mayor Jaeckel Councilmen, Butler, Reed, Shufelt, Webster Councilmen, None The Minutes of regular meeting of April 4, and adjourned meeting u of April 16, were read. After correction of person specified to con- tract for weed abatement, minutes of both meetings were approved on Mayors motion. COMMUNICATIONS: State Board of Equalization notification of application of A. T. Cole for off sale Beer and Wine license. Received and Filed. Watech Letter requesting use of Auditorium by Watohtower Bible and 'rra.ct tower Society. It was moved by Shufelt, second by Butler that requeet b~ / Audit'm granted and no charge made for use of same. Letter of Chamber of Commerce informing Council of date eet for committees to meet and discuss the establishment of a 60mmunity Re- creational Center. Received and filed. I C. Pole Protest by Joint Pole Committee on attatching of political play- Comm cards to utility poles. Received and filed. Letter of the Planning Commission recommending re-zoning of Lots Re-Zone Lots 6 - S Block 207, Stanton & Lothians First Addition from multiple to 6 - S business district. It was moved by Shufelt, second by Butler that the City Attorney be directed to bring in an amendment to Ordinance 199, giving affect to such change. I Motion carried CITY OFFICERS REPORTS: It was moved by Reed, second by Butler that reports of City Trea- surer and City Clerk for month of March be received and filed. Motion carr1:ed ACCOUNTS AND BILLS: Demands numbering 1052 to 1103 inclusive amounting to $4,908.15 were read. It was moved by Shufelt, second by Reed that demands as read be approved and warrants drawn on the Treasury for same. It was moved by Reed, 2nd by Shufelt that Ordinance No. 323 be deemed as having had its third reading by title and do now pass. I Motion carried Ordinance No. 324 was introduced, salary ordinance. It was moved by Butler, second by Reed that Ordinance No. 324 be deemed as having had its second reqding.
