The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in special session
as provided by law to canvass the results of the Special Election
of November 5th,
Present,

Absent,
The first order of business was the counting of absent voters I.
ballots,
Seven ballots were issued, all were returned voted.
Councilwoman Reed took her seat during the counting of the votes.
QUESTION VOTED ON: A lo~ tax levy on each $100.00 of assessed
valuation for the purpose of supplying funds for maintenance and
purchase of fire equipment,

Ci ty Attorney Wi.lliams reviewed the laws governing said election.
Resolution No, 601 was introduced., Declaring election results,
THE CITY COUNCIL DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS; That the whole number
of votes cast in said election was 1079, including absent votes.
