The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session
at 7:30 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute to
the Flag.

The minutes of regular meeting of February 13th were read and
approved on Mayore motion.

Mayor Jaeckel called a short recess in order to give consideration
to the bids,
After short recess meeting was called to order wlth first order
of business being the reading of City officers reports. It was
moved by Reed, second by Shufelt that report of City Treasurer and
City Clerk be received and filed,

The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in adjourned
session at 9:00 A. M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel.

The first order of business was the consideration of bids re-
ceived for the laying of .the new water pipe.
After due consider-
ation, it was moved by Reed, second by Shufelt.to accept the bid of
Merritt Welding Contractors and to extend the time of completion to
sixty (60) days instead of the thirty five (35) as proposed in their
bid. City Attorney dire~ted to prepare said contract and the Mayor
authorized to sign same when approved by both parties.
