The City Cauncil of the City of Seal Beach met in regular sessim at 7:30 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute to the Flag. Present, Mayor Jaeckel COunc~lmen;, ~utler, Webster, Shufelt, Reed Councilmen, None 1 Absent, The minutes of regular meeting of March 12th were read and approved on Mayors motion. COMY.UNICATIOlrs: Letter of Orange County League of Cities calling attention to monthly meeting. Received and Filed. Letter of C. A, Allen requ~sting Council for three month leave of absence. It was moved by Reed, second by Butler that request be granted. Motion carried Letter of First Brethern Church thanking the Council for the use of the Auditorium during the construction of their Church. R. & F. Letter of Herald A. Zimmerman asking Council for permission to Zimmer- man allow certain pastime games to be played in his pool hall. Ref- Games fered to City Attorney for opinion. Planning Commissions recommendation of 1000 square feet^floor space for building in the business district, held for further study. It was moved by Webster, second by Butler that the Planning com-- missions recommendation for re-zoning of Lots 1 & 2, Block 4, Bay City Tract, and Lot 37 & West t Lot 36, Block C. Tract No.1 from single residence. to multiple be approved. Motion carried Melber- Petition of 15th Street property owners against erection of ger two houses on one lot, Referred to Councilman Butler to check Peti- tion Shaw Stang1d Dog Contr 01 I on deed restrictions. Letter of Charles D. Shaw, of California Surf Rider Co. R.& F. Letter of G. Stangeland making offer for Umbrella concession R&F. It was moved by Shufelt, second by Butler to direct the Mayor to approve agreement with the County on the Cities dog control and City Clerk to so inform the Board of Supervisiors. Motion carried ... It was moved by Reed, seond by Shufelt that bills be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for same.
