Dear CITY OF SEAL BEACH:
On November 30, 2012, T-Mobile USA, Inc. or one of its subsidiaries ("T-Mobile") completed its previously announced transaction
with subsidiaries of Crown Castle International Corp. ("Crown Castle") to acquire exclusive rights to manage and operate
approximately 7,100 T-Mobile towers. Crown Castle has assumed management and operation of the T-Mobile tower portfolio,which'
includes the tower on your property. Crown Castle or its applicable subsidiaries are now responsible for the rights and obligations ofl
T-Mobile's lease agreement with you, including the payment of rent commencing with the May 2013 ground rent payment for the
above-referenced lease.
Payment Information
Crown Castle will begin making the ground rent payments starting with any payments due to be paid on or after
May 1, 2013. On approximately April 23, 2013, Crown Castle will be mailing a check dated April 23, 2013, for the May 2013 rent
payment, provided that you are to receive payments on a monthly basis.
For landowners receiving payments other than monthly, you will receive your future payments (any payments after the May 20131
payments)from Crown Castle in accordance with the payment method identified above (the check will be issued in advance of the
check payment due date).
Effective with the July 2013 payment, you will be able to utilize our direct deposit program. Crown Castle strongly recommends that
you utilize direct deposit as a way to receive your ground rent payments in an efficient and timely means. For your convenience, al
direct deposit enrollment form is enclosed. Direct deposit is free to you and helps to prevent any issues that may occur in the
delivery of your rental payments. In order for you to receive your July 2013 payment through direct deposit, the enclosed
enrollment form must be returned to Crown Castle no later than May 3, 2013. Enrollment forms received after May 3, 2013
may not be eligible for direct deposit processing for July. Landowners can always option in or out of direct deposit at a later
date.The direct deposit form is available online at Crown Castle's website:www.crowncastle.com/landowners.

Frequently Asked Questions
Current Land Lease Agreement
o Will I need to enter into a new land lease agreement with Crown Castle?
A No. The Crown Castle agreement with T-Mobile does not impact the existing contractual agreement
between you and the T-Mobile entity or the tower site tenant as applicable.
o Will Crown Castle reimburse me for legal fees if I choose to have this package reviewed by an
attorney?
A Crown Castle does not reimburse legal fees unless specifically provided for within your existing agreement.
• If my agreement with T-Mobile requires consent to assign, should I have been contacted to grant
consent to assign my agreement to Crown Castle?
A If consent was required in your lease agreement, you should have been contacted by T-Mobile to grant consent.
o What if I am in negotiations to amend my agreement, sell my property to T-Mobile or sell a perpetual
easement to T-Mobile?
A Any current negotiations you are engaged in will most likely continue. Crown Castle intends to honor any
fully executed and binding agreements that were negotiated with T-Mobile but not yet completed.
• Will all of the history of my agreement be transferred to Crown Castle?
A No. Crown Castle will receive the current lease and documents from T-Mobile that should allow us to
properly administer your agreement. Payment information will remain with T-Mobile, so if you have
questions relating to previous payments, it may take us slightly longer to respond.
o I have misplaced my land lease. How can I obtain a copy?
A If you are unable to obtain a current copy of your agreement from the local courthouse or local land records,
Crown Castle can provide a copy from our records. We require that all requests for lease agreements be
made in writing and include the landowner signature. Contact information is provided on Page 2.

o Who should I contact about missed or incorrect payments?
A Crown Castle takes great pride in ensuring that our agreements are effectively administered and accurate
payments are made on a timely basis. If you have a question about the accuracy or timeliness of a
payment, contact our Landowners Help Desk at LOHD @crowncastle.com or by phone toll-free at 866-482-
8890. Please note that requests will be prioritized as received.
Q Will I continue to receive detailed payment information with my payments?
A Upon conversion into Crown Castle's accounting system, you will begin receiving the same information that
Crown Castle's existing landowners receive.
Tax and Insurance Information
O How can I be sure that Crown Castle is going to honor the tax-related obligations of my agreement?
A Crown Castle takes great pride in ensuring that our tax obligations are effectively administered and accurate
payments are made on a timely basis. If you have a question about the accuracy of your tax reimbursement)
contact the Landowners Help Desk at LOHD@crowncastle.com or call toll-free at 866-482-8890. Please
note that requests will be prioritized as received.
o My agreement requires that I have a tower company issued insurance certificate, who do I contact?
A Some agreements require the tower company to provide insurance certificates to the landowner. Crown
Castle complies with these terms as required. Crown Castle does anticipate sending new certificates, as
required, in January of each year. To request an insurance certificate, please contact the Landowners Help
Desk at LOHD @crowncastle.com or call us toll-free at 866-482-8890.

Information Changes
• I have moved recently, how do I ensure that my payments are sent to the correct address?
A In order to ensure that all payments are made to the correct party at the correct address, Crown Castle
requires that changes to personal information be requested in writing. Please use the enclosed
Information Verification form. Forms and instructions are also available on our website at
www.crowncastle.com\landowners. Alternatively,you can email us at LOHD @crowncastle.com, call the
Landowners Help Desk toll-free at 866-482-8890, or fax the written request to 724-416-4015.
O I have transferred ownership of the property to another party,what steps do I take to convey this
information to Crown Castle?
A Crown Castle requires that changes to property ownership be submitted in writing along with the proper
documentation. These documents are necessary to protect the interests of the landowners and Crown
Castle. We must have legal proof of ownership of the land on which its tower is located and are required by
the IRS to have a Form W-9 on file for all landowners for tax reporting purposes. Necessary documentation
will vary depending upon the nature of the change of ownership. Documentation requirements are:
• Death: Death Certificate,Will or Probate Record, Form W-9 and contact information of
new landowner
• Divorce: Divorce Decree, Form W-9 and contact information of new landowner
• Sale: Deed, Form W-9 and contact information of new landowner
NOTE:There may be other informational requirements depending upon unique circumstances. Please visit
www.crowncastle.com\landowners for instructions on how to complete a Change of Ownership form. You
can also email us at LOHD @crowncastle.com or call the Landowners Help Desk toll-free at 866-482-889, or
fax the written request to 724-416-4015.

A If you have any specific concerns with the physical state of the tower, compound or access road, please
contact our Network Operations Center(NOC)toll-free at 800-788-7011. Our operators will route your issue
to a local tower operations manager and will work with you to resolve your issue. The NOC is staffed 24
hours a day, 7 days a week.
