The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session at 8:00 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel with salute to the Flag. Present, Absent, Mayor Jaeckel Councilmen, Webster, Shufelt, Reed Councilmen, Butler The minutes of regular meeting of May 14th were read and app- roved on Mayors motion. COMMUNICATIONS: Letter of C. E. Grissom asking for license to operate a skee ball game. Referred to City Attorney Tor legal opinion. Letters fr~Vinzantls 5 & 10, Seal Drug Company, American Legion and V. F, W. and Lions Club and A:'R. teonard for permit Skee Ball Fire Wks I Lett- to sell "Safe and Sane Fire Works" from July lst to July 5th ers inclusive. '/ It was moved by Shufelt, second by Webster that all permits be granted and license fee waived on Lions Club and second permit for American Legion and V. F. W. CITY OFFICERS REPORTS: Report of the City Treasurer and City Clerk for the month were read. City Attorney reported on his findings regarding the paying of wages to City Employees who loose time because of injury received while on City work. City Clerk reported result of his check of the Recall petitions with the affadavits of voters in the Great Register in the County Clerks office of Orange County. Results as follows.
