M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel. Present, Absent, Councilmen, Butler, Shufelt, Reed, Mayor Jaeckel Councilman, Webster No business wa~ transacted It was moved by Butler, second by Shufelt to adjourn. M. and was called to order by Mayor Jaeckel who yielded the Gavel to Mayor Pro-Tem Shuflet who opened the meeting with salute to the Flag. Present, were all members of the Council. The minutes of regular meeting of June 25th and adjourned meeting of June 30, were read. Motion by Jaeckel, second by Reed that same be approved. Motion carried COLlMUNICATIONS: Letter of Glen Jones asking for removal of palm tree. Referred Tree to Roy Thomas for attention. Fire It was moved by Webster, second by Jaeckel to approve Fire Dept. Dept election of W. S. Knighton as Chief. Vege- table Stnd Motion carried Letter of Robbie Kaufman, Attorney concerning renewal of bu1sness license of fruit and vegetable stand at Main Street and Highway. ;) , ..J Ord ~ e.&J~ was directed to contact the County health Department reguarding same. Report for the ~onth of June of City Judge, Police Chief, Buil- ding, Water and Tax Departments were read. It was moved by Butler, second by Reed that reports be received and filed. Motion carried Ordinance No. 345 was introduced. Zoning Ordinance amendment. It was moved by Jaeckel, second by Butler that Ordinance No. 345 be 3q.5 deemed as having had its second reading. Motion carried Ordinance No. 345 was read by title.
