The City Council of the ~ity of Seal Beach met in regular session
and was called to order by Mayor Pro-Tem Shufelt, with salute to
the Flag.

Absent', Councilmen, Reed,Jaeckel
Te minutes of regular meeting of August 13 and adjourned meeting
of August 15, were' read and approved on Mayor;' P.ro':'Tem's motion.
COMMUNICATIONS:
Taxi
Letter of James V. Arnerich asking for transfer of Taxi-cab
license from Malcom E. Fenn to his name. ,It was moved by Butler,

The City Council of the City of Seal Beach met in special
session as required by law to canvass the voze of the Special El-
ection held on the 26th day of August, 1947.
Present, Mayor Proltem, Shufelt
Councilmen, Butler, Webster
An~ent, Oouncilmen, Reed, Jaeckel
AS there was no regular business to be transacted Mayor Pro-Tem
Shufelt sugested that now was the time and place for the City Clerk
to canvass the vote including the absent voters ballots and de-
clare the results of the Special Municipal Election.
