M. anq was called to order ~y Mayor Shufelt with salute to the Flag. Present, Absent " Mayor Shufelt Councilmen, Webster, Brostrom, Armagost, Jacobsen Councilmen, None I The minutes of regular meeting of December 10th were read and approved on Mayors motion. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: COMMlHiICATIONS: City Engineers written report on the satisfactory completion AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Pile of mussel removal from the p,ier piling. Mussels second by Webster that Bell and Clarkes bill for for same be allowed in the sum of $594.00. I. Letter of Dana R. Williams tendering his resigination as City Attorney. It was moved by Webster, second by Armagost that same be accepted. Webster, Brostrom, Armagost, Jacobsen, Shuf,elt None None Motion carried Letter30f OWen M. Murphy and James Munholland making application for appointment as City Attorney were next read. It was moved by Atty Brostrom, second by Armagost that James Munholland be appointed as City Attorney as of January 1st 1948. AYES: Webster, Brostrom, Armagost, Jacobsen, Shufelt NOES: None ABSENT: None Motion carried Reso 630 Report of the City Tre~surer and Oity Clerk for the month of November were read. It was moved by Jacobsen, second by Armagost that reports be received and filed. It was moved by Brostrom, second by Armagost that bills be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for same. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Webster, Brostrom, Armagost, Jacobsen,' Shufelt None None Motion carried Resolution No. 631 was introduced. Cancellation of taxes on 631 City tax deeded lots. It was moved by Webster, second by Brostrom that Resolution No. 631 be adopted. Ch~nge in Council meeting dates. It was moved by Jacobsen, second by Brostrom that Ordinance No. 348 be deemed as having had its 2nd reading. It was moved by Armagost, second by Brostrom that Ordinance NO. 348 be deemed as having had its 3rd and final reading by title and do now pass. Oouncilman Webster stated that he would vote no for the reason that he considered stop signs were a hinderance to traffio on through streets. It wa.s moved by Brostrom, sec9nd by Jacobsen that Ordinanoe No. 349 be deemed as "having had its 3rd and final reading by title and do now pass.
