M. with Mayor Shufelt presiding. Meeting was called to order with salute to the Flag. Present, Mayor Shufelt Oouncilmen, Webster, Oouncilmen, None Brostrom, Armagost, Jacobsen Absent, OOMMUNICATIONS: /NO<l.r Letter of Department of Pab~c Re1ations calling attention to needed safety measures at the Sewer Booster stations. It was moved by Jacobsen, second by Armagost that the purchase of blower~equip- ment be authorized and other requested adjustments made. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Webster, Brostrom, Armagost, Jacobsen, Shufelt None None Motion carried Letter of William R. Janes revising his former bid for lease of Park Lot Janes the Beach Parking Lot. I Reso 636 I Reso 637 Referred to the Beach and Park Oommittee for consideration and report back to the Council w1thin(30) thirty days. Report for the month of February of Oity Judge, Police Chief, Building, Water and Tax departments was read. It was moved by Jac- obsen, second by Brostrom that reports be received and filed. Motion carried Demands numbering 1013 to 1078, inclusive amounting to $6,719.36 ,as approved by the Finance Oommittee were presented. It was moved by Brostrom, second by Jacobsen that bills be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for same. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Webster, Brostrom, Armagost, Jacobsen, Shufelt None None Motion carried Resolution No. 636 was presented. Adopting salary and wage scale. It was moved by Webster, second by Jacobsen that Resolution No. 636 be adopted. Smith thanked the Oouncil on behalf of himself and St Pav'g.other 10th Street residents for the fine job of resurfacing the street. Meeting was adjourned on Mayors motion. Referred to the Police Shuffle board Chief for report. Letter of the Planning Oommission recommending an order be iss- 12th St Shack Bennett Re-Zon ued to removp. the building on Lot 16 Block 12, Bay City Tract. It was moved by Webster, second by Brostrom to direct the City Attorney to prepare the necessary resolution to start proceedings. Motion-carried I No action was taken on the letter of L. U. Bennett requesting extension of time on his re-zoning. Oity Olerk on advice of City Attorney to notify M~. Bennett that time. had expired as provided in Ordinance No. 343.
