The City Counc1l of the City of Seal Beach met in regular session at 8:00 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Shufelt with salute to the Flag. I' Resolution No. 640 was presented. Declaring results of the 640 election of April 13th. It was moved by Brostrom, seconded by Jacobsen that Resolution No. 640 be adopted. OALIFORNIA, D~OLAIRING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID OITY ON TUESDAY THE 13th DAY OF APRIL 1948. BOWERS was elected Oity Councilman in the City of Seal Beach for a four (4) year term; that Albert R. LEONARD was elected Oity Oouncilman in the Oity of Seal Beach for a four (4) year term; that John W. Mulcahy was elected City Clerk in the Oity of Seal Beach for a four (4) year term; that Charles Z. Irvine was elected Oity Treasurer in the Oity of Seal. I . Beach for a, four (4) year term; and, that the Oity Clerk shall enter upon the records of the City Oouncil a statement of the re- sults of said election showing among other things, the following: (a) The whole numb er of votes cast in the City; (b) The names of the persons voted for; ( c) The offices each person was voted for; (d) The number of votes given in each precinct for each person; and ! ( e) The .number of votes given in the Oity for each person".
