session at 8:00 P. M. and was called to order by Mayor Shufelt
with salute to the Flag.

.The minutes of regular meeting of April 6th and special meet-
ing of April 19th were read and approved on Mayors motion. . I'
Resolution No. 640 was presented. Declaring results of the
640 election of April 13th. It was moved by Brostrom, seconded by
Jacobsen that Resolution No. 640 be adopted.

The City Oouncil of the Oity of Seal Beach does resolve as
follows: that the General Municipal Election was duly held and con-
ducted in said Oity of Seal Beach, California, on Tuesday the 13th
day of April, 1948, at the time and in the form and manner as requi~
red by law; that four (4) voting precincts for the purpose of holding
the election, consisting of the regular election precincts established
for holding State and Oounty elections, were established as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that at said General
Municipal Election OLIVER L. BOWERS was elected Oity Councilman
in the City of Seal Beach for a four (4) year term; that Albert
R. LEONARD was elected Oity Oouncilman in the Oity of Seal Beach
for a four (4) year term; that John W. Mulcahy was elected City
Clerk in the Oity of Seal Beach for a four (4) year term; that
Charles Z. Irvine was elected Oity Treasurer in the Oity of Seal.

enter upon the records of the City Oouncil a statement of the re-
sults of said election showing among other things, the following:
(a) The whole numb er of votes cast in the City;
(b) The names of the persons voted for;
