The Oity Oouncil of the Oity of Seal Beach met in regular session
at 8:00 P. M. with Mayor Shufelt presiding. Meeting w~s called to
order with salute to the Flag.

The minutes of Tegular meeting of June 15 were read and app-
roved on Mayors motion.

OOMMUNICAUOU:
Letter of L. A. Greenman asking for a lease of the East Beach
for the purposs of developing a trailer park. On motion by Bowers
Trail'r second by Brostrom matter was referred to City Attorney.

Engineer.
Letter of Chamber of Oommerce asking Oouncil to waive the
license fee on a proposed carnival to be sponsered by the Chamber.
It was moved by Leonard, second by Jacobsen that permit be granted
upon payment of the regular license fee to the Oity.

Letter of James V. Arnerich asking the Cities co-operation in
